The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed with regard to the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the SRD lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance level designed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more website assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
